Congratulations to our under 14 girls (pictured above)  who beat Arravale Rovers in County under 14 'C ' championship on Wednesday night last. There was little between the teams in the first half  with arravale rovers putting plenty of pressure on our defence but not converting scoring chance while our forward were much more clinical at taking scoring opportunities . In the second half St. Pat's got well on top of their opponents and their ability to score goals and points from well out the field  proved the difference between the sides as St. Pat's ran out easy winners on a score line of 5-10 to  3-2 . It is a great achievement for this small parish. Well done to coaches, players and also all the supporters who attended. Well done girls.

Under 8's

Well done to Catriona Boland and Shiela Butler coaches of our under 8's who were out on Wednesday night last in Monroe for a football blitz. This was a great evening for the girls and everyone enjoyed it

.Under 12

Our under 12 girls played there first round league match away to Templemore on Friday evening. Unfortunately our girls met a stronger team on the evening, where we only managed to register one point in the first half, scored by Erin O'Brien. At the half time mark we trailed by 1.7 to 1 point. The second half seen good passages of play by the St. Patrick's girls & they fought hard to win and keep possession. Scores in the second half came from Dearbhla Morrissey, two points from frees and a well taken point by Ava Heffernan. Final score: St. Patrick's 0.4 Templemore 2.9. We have two league games remaining against Moyne and Cahir, details of when these games will be played not finalised as yet. Good luck to all the girls who have started the county u12 Academy programme.

The junior ladies team would like to wish Nicola Grall & husband to be TJ Noonan the very best of luck for their wedding day next Saturday.
