Anner Gaels had a good win over The Emeralds of Urlingford in the opening game but then lost out to Carrick swans which left them competeing for the shield final. The shield final was a close fought game with Anner Gaels getting the better of St. Finbarrs of Dublin.
Well done to all concerned.
Clonoulty were the eventual winners of the Larry Hayes memorial cup final.
