All roads led to Ned Hall Park Clonmel last Sunday where our U21 hurlers were in South Final action against. After 2 easy enough wins in the championship already hopes were high that this group of lads could add another South title to the one the minor hurlers won already this year. Unfortunately we came up against a more physical team in Cahir and although we had plenty of chances to win we ultimately came up short in the end on a scoreline of 1-7 to 7. We would like to thank the players and management team of Colm Duggan and Tony O'Brien for their effort during the season and with only 3 players overage hopefully they can come back stronger next year and make up for this defeat.
