Both adult teams won away from home. The premier team had a 1 – 0 victory in Monard against Blackstone Rovers in the Munster Junior Cup, the winning goal coming from the boot of Rob O’Keeffe from a free kick outside the box. The 3rd division team had a good result away to second placed Newmarket when they won 2 -1. The goals coming from Mark Sheehan and Finbarr O’Sullivan
The U17 team, despite having the majority of possession, came out the wrong end of a 2 – 1 scoreline at home to Avondale Utd on Sunday.
The result of the weekend belonged to the U14 boys away to Leeds where they enjoyed a resounding 12 – 0 victory.
The only team not to play was the U12 team who were to play Grenagh away but unfortunately the fixture fell foul of the weather and was called off.
