The biggest congratulations must go to our U12 team who played their very first competitive league game away to Bandon on Saturday last and came away with a resounding 8 -2 victory.It was a very good team performance characterised by some well taken goals, three of which came from Liam Twohig. Others to contribute to the goal haul were Joshua Martin with one, Jack Murphy and Luke Casey also with one each and Tadhg O’Brien-Bradley with two.
Other results over the weekend included a very good 4-0 victory for the U17 team away to Midleton, a 3-2 victory for the 3rd Division Junior team away to Afton Villa in the Presidents cup and the only blip was a 4-2 defeat for the premier team away to Killumney Utd in the Mossie Linnane League cup.
