SENIOR

Dr Harty Cup: A huge well done to Nenagh Éire Óg’s Gavin O’Connor, Jake Morris and Adam Healy who all featured in Nenagh CBS’ 4-18 to 0-14 win over Thurles CBS in last Wednesday afternoon’s Dr Harty Cup clash played at Templemore. Nenagh CBS required an eight-point win over their Tipperary rivals in order to progress to the quarter-finals of this prestigious competition. And, the lads achieved that feat with a little spare thanks to a terrific performance. As a result Nenagh CBS topped their group, progressed to the last eight alongside St Colman’s (Fermoy) and now find themselves preparing for a Dr Harty Cup quarter-final which will take place in January. The Blues’ Niall McKeogh, Craig Himli and Conor McCarthy were also members of the Nenagh CBS panel.

Under-21A: Greg Browne’s under-21A hurling team made an encouraging start to their championship campaign recently when beating Roscrea by sixteen points. The team is now awaiting a semi-final fixture. This year the under-21A hurling team is managed by Greg Browne (manager), Con Morris and Michael McNamara.

AGM: The Nenagh Éire Óg Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at 8pm in the MacDonagh Park Complex.
