CAMOGIE

Minor: Our minor side were defeated by Newport-Ballinahinch in the county semi-final at The Ragg on Sunday last (1-13 to 1-5) and this concludes our on-field action for the year. The club wishes to thank the management team of Noel Coffey and Kieran O’Brien for the countless hours they put in this year with both this team and the junior A side. We wish also to thank Noreen Ryan, Marie O’Brien and Mary Quigley for all their work behind the scenes as well as Brian McDonnell, Shane Connolly, Ciara McGrath and Aileen Duggan who looked after proceedings on Sunday in the absence of Noel and Kieran. We especially want to thank the entire panel for their dedication throughout 2015 and in the proud manner in which they represented their club. We also wish to thank the mentors who looked after all our teams this year and all the players, parents and other volunteers who helped in any way in 2015. We want to thank Denise Morris and the committee who put in mammoth and often thankless work to help our teams and continue to grow our club. We look forward to seeing everyone back again in 2016.
