JUVENILE

The finals of the Nenagh Éire Óg Street League will be held on Thursday, May 21st at 5.30pm. The under-12 hurling and Camogie mentors need to be congratulated for this as it has been a great success. The boys and girls need to see their commitment through now and all should be present for the finals.

Special football training for under-8 and under-10 boys continues on Tuesdays at 6pm and regularly has over 30 boys in attendance. Great work being done by Shane Connolly, John McNamara and Martin Ryan. Contact Shane if you can help on a regular basis.

The Nenagh Éire Óg under-14A footballers will take on Inane Rovers in the north semi-final on Friday, May 22nd at 6.30pm in Nenagh. Best of luck to our boys. Please come out to support and encourage these young players.

The club would like to thank the under-14 management team of John Phelan, Conor O’Donovan, Phil Hennessey and Alan Kelly for adding to their workload and starting an under-14 development squad. This is of huge benefit to the club and to young boys who might not see regular under-14A action this summer. The panel visited Ballyskenach during the week for a challenge match. Thank you to the hosts.

We all have busy lives, but full commitment towards training and matches is now required for the summer. Under-8 and under-10 matches are being arranged. The under-12 championship starts at the end of May and the

under-14 soon after. The team management give their time freely, but must be informed by text if a player will not be attending training or a match. This simple text shows respect for teammates and their club. We wish the boys a wonderful summer of hurling and friendship. Please bring them out to matches at other grades to support their club mates. Texts required only for under-6 matches

The juvenile club will he holding a bag-packing fundraiser in Dunnes Stores on Saturday, May 30th. Parents will be contacted soon. Please give an hour of your time.
