Tipperary: Best wishes to the Tipperary intermediate team who play Cork in the Munster final this weekend – Alanna Morris and Ciara McGrath are members of this panel.

JUVENILE

Under-6 & under-8: Thanks to our senior hurlers Noel Maloney, John Brennan, Bob O’Brien and Killian Gleeson who treated our under-6 and under-8 hurlers to a training camp on Saturday morning. A great time was had by all. More activities are lined up in the coming weeks so don’t miss training. Check the club Facebook page for photos – click here.

Under-12 Hurling: The under-12 hurling championship starts on May 30th. Full attendance required for training and challenge matches. Check nenagheireog.com for upcoming fixtures.

Under-14 Football: Hard luck to our under-14 footballers who lost out to Inane Rovers in the north final after a closely-fought contest on Wednesday night last. The Éire Óg boys put in a huge effort for the full game and both teams were deadlocked at one score each for most of the hour. However, Inane got the rub of the green with three late scores to seal victory and we wish them the best of luck in the county semi-final. Team: Eoghan Tinkler, Liam Heffernan, Fiachra Starr, Mark Carey, Gavin Dooley, Evan Murphy, Matthew Hodgins, Cian O’Farrell, Seán Shanahan, Seán Phelan, Scott O’Brien, Conor Hennessy, Stephen Hallinan, Daniel Molamphy and Conor Sullivan, Conor Robinson, Conor Malone and Mark Ryan. For a report on this final please click here.

Well Done: Congratulations to Cian O’Farrell and Conor Hennessy who have been selected on the Primary Game panel for the forthcoming Tipperary v Limerick clash. Well done lads.

CLUB HISTORY

As most of you are aware the club, under the expert guidance of PJ Maxwell, Nancy Murphy and Donal A Murphy, are putting the finishing touches to our club history book. This promises to be a comprehensive collection of the history of Gaelic games in our parish.

While the club have made every effort to collect photographs of teams from the present to the distant past and other pictures which would be of interest we appeal to people to get in touch if you have a photograph of interest in your possession.

Please do not assume that we already possess your photograph or that it is of no interest.

Every Éire Óg photo, whether it is of a team, presentation or action shot is of massive importance to us and we would be delighted to have it. We are also anxious to get photos of school teams from any of the schools in the community.

If you have a photograph please get in touch with us at eireognenagh@gmail.com

We promise to return the photo as soon as we have it scanned.
