NENAGH HANDBALL CLUB

It was another eventful and successful weekend, both on and off the courts, last week for Nenagh Handball club. Nenagh Town Council awarded the club a Civic Reception on Friday night in recognition for achievements during the past year. It was a great honour for the club and we would like to thank all involved.

Saturday morning saw three of our young stars, namely Sinéad Meagher, Katie Morris and Eimear Meagher, join their Munster teammates in Kingscourt, Cavan for the Inter-Provincial finals along with Nenagh Handball Club coach Eamonn Spillane who was also one of two Munster team coaches. Having beaten Connaught in the semi-final, a nail-biting final against Leinster went right to the wire, but Munster eventually took the match 88-73. Well done and continued success to the girls and to Eamonn from all at the club.
