JUVENILE

Help A Child To Hurl: Can you help a child to hurl? Robbie Ryan is currently coaching in the primary schools around Nenagh and is doing tremendous work in promoting hurling. If you have any spare hurleys (especially sizes 27 – 29) lying around at home we would appreciate if you would consider donating them to the club.

CAMOGIE

Congratulations: We wish to congratulate Nenagh College on their great win in the Munster Vocational Schools final on Saturday last. Zoey Gratton was the sole Éire Óg representative and she had an outstanding game. A special thank you to her coaches and teachers in the school who so generously volunteer their time to help promote Camogie – without the generosity of the teachers in all the schools in the town Gaelic games would not be in the strong position it currently stands.

Dinner Dance: On February 1st the club’s dinner dance will take place in The Abbey Court Hotel where we will be honouring the minor and junior B teams who won their respective championships in 2013. No girl under the age of eighteen will be permitted entry on the night unless accompanied by their parents or guardians. This promises to be an entertaining night as we will be joining up with the hurling club who will be presenting their winning teams from 2013 with their medals as well.

Registration: Our registration night will take place on Friday, January 24th. No player will be allowed train or play with the club unless they are registered as they will not be covered by insurance.

Volunteers: We are always looking for new people to get involved in the club and if you would like to contribute to the growth of camogie in terms of administration, coaching, playing or in any other way please email eireognenagh@gmail.com
