Healthy Club Project: The Healthy Club Project team will host a ‘Well Being and Mental Health’ night on Friday, January 24th at the Abbey Court Hotel. This event represents an opportunity for club members and the wider community to become informed on the many issues surrounding depression and mental health. We hope to create awareness and offer hope in the areas of depression, loneliness and isolation. Speakers on the night include Conor Cusack, Tony Butler and Séamus Hennessy. In addition a number of organisations will be present with information.

Membership: Membership for 2014 is now due and can be paid to any club officer or online by clicking here. Cost of membership is priced at €25.

Congratulations: Well done to the Nenagh CBS team which beat Thurles CBS in the Croke Cup final last week.

Well done also to our figure dancers and recitation participant who represented the club proudly. Many thanks to Máiréid Long and Shane Connolly for all their hard work.

Congratulations to Cameron Spillane who won a Munster A medal and Cian Griffin who won a Munster B medal as part of the successful Tipperary primary schools teams recently. Well done boys. Well done also to Michael McNamara and Brian Darcy who won the 40×20 County Junior B title in Cashel beating Ballyporeen opposition.

All at the club were very proud to see Michael ‘Boysie’ Hogan awarded with a Laochra Sean Ghael award in Thurles recently. It was richly deserved for his many years of work and dedication to GAA in his community and the county.
