U10: We hosted Portroe in Nenagh on Saturday last, thanks to Portroe for visiting us.
U12: Our group 1 and group 4 teams played Roscrea and Toomevara recently, unfortunately going down in all our games. The group 1 team now face Kilruane in a play off game to reach the semi finals. Despite the results, the teams are showing good improvement and hope for more luck in the coming games. Both our teams had a great days hurling in Puckane on Saturday last in the Seamus Flannery memorial tournament. This was a very well run tournament with teams from 5 counties involved, many thanks to Kildangan club for the invitation and the first class hospitality on the day. The Flannery family presented a momento of the day to each club which was much appreciated.
U14: We played Kilruane in Nenagh and after a late Kilruane rally, were defeated by 5-11 to 4-7 in a cracking game. We played Newport Gaels in Newport last week but were well defeated 2-16 to 0-6. We play Toomevara in the next game, see fixtures.
U16: In football, we were well defeated by a classy Clonmel Commercials outfit in the county semi recently. Our first U16 hurling championship game is vs Kildangan in Nenagh on July 9.
Summercamp: Starting Monday July 23rd, 2pm to 5pm each day, registration forms will be distributed at training shortly.

Camogie News
U8s are training on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30. The U/8’s had a blitz in Portroe where we played 3 games winning two. All the girls had a very enjoyable day and thanks to Portroe for running the Blitz. Any girls interested in joining please come along on Wednesdays to see what is going on.
U10’s are training on Mondays and Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30. We have another Blitz coming up soon.
U12’s. The U/12s are training on a Monday and Thursday Evening.  A lot of the girls are playing on the U/13 and U/14 panels and great credit is due to the girls and all the trainers that they are able to make the step up and perform so well. We ask everyone to keep coming training and keep up the good work.
U14s. The U/14s are training on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30. The U/14’s had no game last week. The U/13’s had a good win over Newport. Both teams along with our B teams are expected to be out this week. There are a lot of games coming up so keep in touch with trainers and also please let trainers know about holidays.
U16s. Training is now back in full swing.  The Championship will start very soon again so we ask everyone available to attend training. Hard Luck to the County U/16 team on their surprising  loss to Limerick last weekend.  They now play Cork in a must win game in Cork this weekend. We wish Alana a speedy recovery from her broken finger.
The junior b and minor panels will train on Wednesdays and Fridays. Our Junior team defeated Sixmilebridge in the Munster league on Tuesday last on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-02. There were some great performances throughout especially from Zoey Gratton, Alice Darcy and Gemma Morris. Special mention must go to Holly O Brien who scored the 'goal of the season' when she expertly deflected a ball going wide past the despairing dive of the goalkeeper. Best wishes to Mikaela Gleeson who picked up an injury in this game. Also get well soon to Aileen Duggan who broke a bone in her hand. In our final group game of the Munster league we travelled to Tulla in Clare and unfortunately lost by four points. We are waiting for confirmation as to whether or not we finished second in the group and thus qualify for the plate final. Best wishes to Alice Darcy who picked up a knock near the end of the match. We would also like to say bon voyage to our captain Louise Hickey who is emigrating to Barcalona.
We are due to play in the Tipperary Under 18 seven a side competition on July 7/8. Details will be texted to players shortly. A big thank you to everyone who took part in the Guess the Score. We had a great response and winners will be announced shortly.
