Camogie News:
U8s are back training on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30. New members always welcome

U10’s are back training on Mondays and Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30. All new members welcome. Blitzes are starting very soon and details will be given at training.

U12’s. The U/12s are now back training on a Monday and Thursday Evening. We had another Go-Games blitz in Borrisoleigh last weekend were we played five games. Well done to everyone who played and thanks to Borrisoleigh for running the blitz.

U14s. The U/14s are training on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30. We travelled to Newport last Sunday for the first round of the Feile Competition. A very slow start saw us a couple of goals down early on. Some changes brought a bit more balance to the team and we got more in to the game. We had it back to a goal near half time but another goal for Newport  left it at 3-3 to 1-3 at the break. Nenagh played a lot better in the 2nd half but the scores dried up. A great strike by Grace was defected over the bar. Newport closed ranks and went on to win 3-4 to 1-4. Hard luck to all.

U16’s are back training. It is good to see the numbers have increased over the last couple of weeks. Texts are being sent out and please let trainers know of your availability.

The junior b and minors on Tuesdays and Fridays. All interested are asked to contact Enda O’Sullivan at endaos@hotmail.com. Texts will be sent out about training. We played Cahir last weekend and had a good win 5-9 to 1-4. It was a good fighting performance especially from Gemma Morris and Mary Dillon scored a cracker of a goal. Get well soon to Alana Morris who picked up a facial injury during the game. The junior league is to start next weekend and the fixture will be put up on our Facebook page.

Membership is going very well this year but there are still some outstanding. Any child not registered is not insured to play or train for the Club so please pass on any outstanding membership forms to a committee member or trainer as soon as possible.
