Camogie news
The u 8s and the u 10s have played a number of friendlies over the last few weeks in Newport and Burgess. They enjoyed the games very much so thank both clubs very much for the invitations. Both the U8S AND THE U10S  are very open to new members.

The u 14s lost narrowly in the county final against a very committed Kliruane team in the Ragg camogie field. Nenagh Eire Og had gone 4 points up with 7 minutes left but Kilruane showed their fighting spirit to power their way iinto the lead at the end. It was a devastating loss for the Nenagh Eire og ladies but one which will be a lesson for them into the future. Former Nenagh Eire Og player Leanne Kelly was the hero for Kilruane with 3 goals. We would like to congratulate Kliruane on their fine win on the night. Final score Nenagh Eire Og 1-10 Kilruane 4-3

The community games team made up mostly of the u 14 team had a heartbreaking defeat to a very strong Cahir team on Monday with a goal at the death after the team dragged themselves back into the game in the second half turning around a huge deficit to draw the game until the last puck fo the game. It was a huge effort by the Nenagh Eire Og team with Rachel Maher giving an outstanding performance from the backline. They finally lsot out on a score line of 3-7 to 4-1. Well done to all it has been a tough few weeks but we will have more good days than bad days with this bunch of ladies.

The u 16s had a narrow loss in the championship against Kilruane in Ardcroney. It was a fiercely contested game with both sets of players giving their all.  It was a game which both teams needed to win to qualify from a tight group. Kilruane proved to be physically stronger on the night. Nenagh now need to beat a strong Silvermines team to get into a position for a play off for the semi Finals. The club would also like to wish Pat Williams father of Kilriuane u 16 mentor Thomas Williams a speedy recovery from his recent illness.

The junior b team play Tulla from Clare at home this weekend in the Junior league. They have also drawn Eire Og of Ennis and St Vincents of Cork in a tough group. It will be a learning experience for this very young team and one in which they will enjoy.

The club would like to wish all our members who are doing exams the very best of luck.
