Adult News:

Senior Hurling: Unfortunately our Senior hurlers were defeated in the first round of the North Championship by Templederry. This ends our interest in the senior championship for this year. A big thank you to all players, team management and backroom staff.

Junior A: Our Junior Hurlers play Kiladangan in Kilcoleman on Sunday, June 11th at 7:30.

Tickets: Any Club Member looking for tickets for the Munster Championship semi-final between Tipperary and Limerick contact 087-1336024.

Exams: We would also like to wish any club member doing exams this week the very best of luck.

Juvenile News:

Under 8: Great day had by all on Saturday for the visit of Ballina. Next Saturday the U8s travel to Ahane A big thank you goes out to the parents for providing food and refreshments, much appreciated.

Under 10: The U10s hosted Ballina on Saturday. All enjoyed a great morning's hurling in glorious weather.  Training continues on Wednesday evening.

Under 14: Our U14 hurlers begin their championship campaign this Wedneday evening when they take on Toomevara in McDonagh Park at 6.30pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Under 16: U16 training continues on Wednesdays and Fridays with the first round of the championship on July 4th. Best of luck to all our students starting the Junior cert this week.

Camogie News:

Under-8 & Under-10: We are participating in the county blitz this Saturday in The Ragg. Mentors will be in touch with the details. Have a great day girls.

Under-10 & Under-12: The club will be organising a blitz for these teams in the coming weeks. Mentors will be in contact soon with the arrangements.

Under-14: It was a mixed week for this team as they defeated Éire Óg Annacarthy on Monday but then succumbed to Toomevara in the county semi final on Wednesday. However the year isn’t over for this team as they welcome Wexford’s HWH Bunclody to the town for the annual Féile na nGael competition.

Under-16, Minor, Intermediate: Training continues for these teams and we ask all non-exam players to please make a special effort to attend as the Munster League will be commencing shortly.

Tipperary: Well done to Ella, Abby and Meaghan who played with the county under-14 A side which reached the final of the Cork blitz but unfortunately were defeated by Galway.

Race Night: We will be hosting a race night in The Hibernian Inn on June 17th. This is a social occasion for everyone in the club and we invite you all to attend what promises to be an enjoyable occasion. Committee members are selling tickets for the night.
