Weekly club notes

SHC: Our senior hurlers resumed their championship campaign on Tuesday evening last against Burgess, check results section for more details and also the club website for match report.

JAHC: Our junior A team qualified for the quarter final of the championship. They await the 2nd placed team in group 2. Check fixtures for more details.

JBHC: Due to results elsewhere in the group, our junior B teams interest in this years championship is over. The club would like to thank all players and team management for their efforts throughout the year.

MAHC: Our minor hurlers are out in championship action Thursday evening in Nenagh. Toomevara provide the opposition and throw in time is 6.30.

U12: We took our U12 group to Dublin on Sunday last and while the senior result in Croke Park was disappointing, all had a great day. Congratulations to Barry Heffernan, Killian Gleeson and the Tipp minors on a great win. We played 2 games against Na Fianna whom we thank sincerely for their hospitality on the day. Parish League will commence shortly, details at training.

U14: Plate competition will start this week with a match against Moneygall.

U16: Semi final to be played on Monday 27th against the winners of Newport or Borrisoleigh, the game will be played at the away venue of our opposition.

Guess the score: As there was no winner of our recent competition for the Munster Final, we are allocating the €250 prize money as follows; €200 to Jane Devaney and her Relay for Life group which is a really deserving cause. We had a draw for  €10 for the sellers of full cards, winners are as follows: Adam Ryan, Conor White, Eoghan Tinkler, Rory O’Donovan and Anthony Donovan.
