Weekly club notes

November 8, 2018

JBHC: Our Junior B team travelled to Templderry Saturday evening where they played Newport in the semi-final of the championship. Unfortunately we were beaten by a better team on the day. Thanks to the players and management for their efforts throughout the year which yielded a league trophy during the summer.
U21AHC: Our U21 team were due to play Roscrea in the championship last Sunday but this game was cancelled at late notice. Check fixtures for details of next game.
Scor: Are you under 16 and do you have an interest in taking to the stage over the coming weeks to represent the club at singing, dancing, acting or playing music ? If the answer is yes, contact Mairead Longat 0879686308 ASAP. Non-members of the club are especially welcome.
Club lotto: Congratulations to Mark O Neill, Middlewalk, Clouighjordan the recent winner of €9,200 in the clubs biggest ever lotto jackpot. Thanks to everyone who supports the club by playing the lotto every week. You can also play online at www.nenagheireog.com
U16:  In the county semi final played in the Ragg on Saturday last, we were defeated by Durlas Og by 1-16 to 1-14 in another thrilling match between the two clubs. This was a game of two halves with us just coming up short after a great battle. Hard luck to the lads who have been a credit to the club over the past few years. Many thanks to Con Morris, Greg Browne and Michael McNamara for all their work with this group and  thanks to Eddie Hynes and Liam Quinn for their help throughout the year.  We wish Durlas Og the best of luck in the county final.
U16 tournament: We will hold an U16 blitz involving our B team in Nenagh on Saturday October 15th, players will be informed of arrangements.
Handball:  After reforming our Handball club 2 years ago to cater for juveniles and with increasing numbers, we are looking for more help both in juvenile coaching and admin etc. A meeting will be held in the complex at 8pm on Wednesday October 12th, all interested parties are welcome.
