U21 Football: Our u21 footballers were narrowly beaten in the 1st round of the championship Friday night last by Borris-Ileigh.We play Lorrha in round 2 of the championship and this takes place Saturday at 4pm in Lorrha.

 

Hogan Cup 1/4 final: Nenagh Eire Og play Roscrea on Sunday 28th February in Roscrea.

Scór: The Scór na bPaisti area finals will be held on Friday 5th March. Nenagh Éire Óg compete with Ballina, Burgess, Roscrea, Shannon Rovers & Portroe in Portroe for a place in the final. The North Final will be held on Friday 19th March. Contact Mairead Long for further information.
 

Mass: There will be a rememberance mass for Jimmy Conroy this Wednesday at 10am in St Marys. There will be a months mind mass for Sean Slattery on Saturday 7pm in St Marys. There will be a months mind mass for Michael Geaney at 8pm on Saturday in St Johns.

Juvenile Club news: A reminder that our juvenile registration night is on Thurs.night 25th.Feb. 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Registration forms will be available on the night. Registration costs €25.00 per child and €50 for 2 or more children.

 

Juvenile training arrangements:

U6 & U8s commence Wed 24th at 5.00pm. indoor training. Also on Saturdays at 10am.
U8 Blitz this Saturday at 9.30am. sharp in Nenagh.
U10s commence Wed March 3rd 5.15 to 6.30, will also train Saturdays 10am.
Blitz on Sat March 6th at 9.30am. sharp in Nenagh.
U12s Saturdays 10.30 to 12.00am.

U14A Monday and Friday 5.00 to 6.30pm.

U16A Thursdays at 7.00pm - 8.00pm

 
Our U14A team played Na Pairsaigh of Limerick on Sat. last and had a very competive game.  It was a great work out for both teams.
 
Helmets: In all hurling games and hurling practice sessions it is mandatory for all players to wear helmets with a facial guard.Helmets shall be approved for use on the basis of compliance with standards and tests set out in IS:355 as determined by the National Standards Authority of Ireland.  Currently the approved helmets are the Mycro, Marc and Azzurri. GAA Injury Scheme will only operate for hurling injuries if the injured player was wearing aproved helmet.
