3. EGM
Thanks to all who attended the EGM on Tuesday night. There were two motions on the table.
- name change of the club
- endorsement of the new constitution.
Larry Fenlon attended to explain any legal issues which where raised.
Both motions where passed with an overall majority. CYM Sports Club from Tuesday 1st February 2011 be known as Terenure Sports Club which will help in the marketing of the club and remove any misinterperation of what our club ethos is about. We can look forward to the future and success of the club. The important thing to note is the sections can still retain their identity. We now have a new modern constitution which current to 2011 thinking.
