1. Xmas Message from Pesident
I would like to take a moment of your time to wish all our members and families a Happy Xmas and a Prosperous New Year. Thank you for your support throughout 2011 and I hope it will continue in 2012. Being president of CY (now TSC) to date has been a challenge for me especialy juggling between my full time job, young family and being responsible for the running of CY. However through the hard work of volunteers (too many to name) and especially the positive influence that our General Manager Caroline has made we have turned a corner in these hard times, which is a postive for TSC moving to 2012. We are not out of the woods by any means but inch by inch we are building membership, functions, improving the facilities and opening our facility to the community. Don’t forget to check the website for club events and other acitivites/classes. There are three main events before Xmas to note in your diaries
- Santa pays a visit on 17th @15:30,
- Xmas Draw on 18th @ 20:30 (please return your your tickets and sell a few to your firends) and on the
- 23rd is the now famous Carroll Night. Please join us on these occassions and bring your friends along for the Xmas atmosphere
2. Lotto
No Winners of the match 3 or match 4 tonight. Please support the draw as it helps your sections raise funds.
3. EGM
After a second attempt to hold an EGM, we changed the Aspirant membership status. Now after one year this membership class is entitled to become an Ordinary member. The members agreed to raise the fees for the Aspiant, Ordinary, Over 65’s. Some of the increased revenue will help pay for the increased interest rate on our loan. The rest of the money will be reinvested in nesessary capital projects
