Seamus O Riain: We had a comprehensive win over Golden in Round 1 of the Seamus O Riain Cup last Friday evening. Final score: Eire Og 4-31 Golden 2-04. The draw for the next round takes place this Thursday and matches are currently scheduled for the w/e of the 22nd August.
JAHC: Our last group game vs Lorrha will take place this weekend and is fixed for Saturday evening at 7pm in Cloughjordan
JCHC: Our junior C team are also out in championship action this weekend against Kildangan at 12 Midday on Sunday in Nenagh
MHC: The minors are out in action next Wednesday evening Aug 11th against Kilruane in Cloughjordan at 7:15pm
Congratulations: To the Tipperary U21 hurling team on capturing the Munster title last Wednesday with a fine performance against Clare. Michael Heffernan and Paddy Murphy made great contributions with Michael scoring 1-3 while Paddy got 0-5.
