Camogie News:

Tipperary U 16: Tipperary u 16 Camogie team were unlucky to lose the All Ireland final against Galway last Sunday in Tullamore.  Nenaghs Cíara McGrath who has been a wonderful ambassador for our club and she certainly did us proud in Tullamore with a tally of 2 points and also she dropped in two frees intentionally short of the Galway goals which resulted in 2 goals for Tipperary. Nenagh Eire Og Camogie club would like to thank the management team for their dedication to the girls this year.

The u 14’s qualified for the County Final last Monday with a very hard fought win against Kilruane. The score line  may look like it was one sided but Nenagh were made to fight all the way by their neighbours Kilruane and it took some great saves from Sarah Quigley to keep us in the game. It will take a huge step up in quality to win the county final against Thurles. The U 12’s also qualified for a county final with a fine win against Drom and Inch on Thursday. Nenagh were  the better team all over the field and it showed in the final scoreline. Like the u 14s they will need a huge improvement if they are to beat St Cronins Roscrea in the final. Score Nenagh 4.6 Drom 0-1.
