SHC: Our senior hurlers suffered their second defeat in this years championship on Sunday last where they were lost out to Kildangan on a scoreline of 3.11 to 2.8. We have a bye in the next round so we are not in action again until after the Tipperary v Cork game.

 
JCHL: Our junior C team made a winning start to the league on Friday night last thanks to a two point win over Burgess in Kilcoleman. Final Score Nenagh Eire Og 2.9 Burgess 1.10.
 
MFC: The minor footballers were beaten by the narrowest of margins on Monday last by Borris-Ileigh in the championship. Final Score Nenagh Eire 3.05 Borris-Ileigh 2.09. Our next game is tomorrow (Thurs) against Newport in Nenagh at 7pm.
 
Juvenile news:
U12 Football: After an exciting game vs Kilruane, we qualified for the Final of the A Championship after a 1-6 to 2-2 victory. Nenagh started well and led by 1-4 to 0-2 at HT, Kilruane came back strongly but Nenagh stood up to the challenge and held on for a great win. Well done to the lads and their mentors. We now play Kildangan in the final, see fixtures for details. Please come out and support this young team in the final. Results:
 
U14A competed against Ballina on Wed. Score Nenagh Eire Og 2-06 Ballina 0-09. U14A Mon.3rd.May Nenagh Eire Og 2-03 Newport/Ballinahinch 2-03
 
U16A North semi-final played on 24th. Nenagh Eire Og 2-09 Kilruane Mac/D 1-04 Nenagh are to play Ballina or Inane Rovers in the final on Monday 10th May in Toomevara at 7.00pm.
 
U10’s The U10 hurlers have had a busy past week, beginning with a challenge against Kildangan on wednesday last. On saturday, they participated in the Go Games Blitz in Roscrea with games against Toomevara, Roscrea and Lorrha. There were good performances from Dane Ryan, Mark Carey & Fiachra Starr throughout the day. Next Saturday, we will take part in a Munster club blitz in Thurles.
 
Fixtures: Peil Final: Nenagh Eire Og v Clonmel Thurs.6thMay Venue TBC Friday 7th May U 12 A North Final Kildangan V Eire Og in Dolla Throw in 7;15pm ref TBC Congratulations to Adam Gratton, Killian Gleeson and Barry Heffernan who played on the U16 Munster Interdivisional hurling team last weekend. They competed and won against City&West Limerick, Mid Clare and North Kerry on Sat. They were defeated by only 2 points against Mid-Tipp on Monday in Cork. Well done to the boys on getting so far in the competition.
 
Camogie news:
The u 8s recently played 2 games against Toomevara and Burgess. The girls acquitted themselves very well. We would like to thank both clubs for these matchs. The u 10s have played 3 games recently against Kilruane, Toomevara and Burgess in which we won 2 games and drew 1, this is in keeping with the good performances of recent times and bodes well for the future. The u 12s recently qualified for a County Semi final with a great win against St. Cronins They are now playing Drom and Inch in the semi Final next Thursday. They would appreciate your support.
 
The u 14s played a challenge match last Saturday in the CBS against the Liam Mellows club from Galway. Despite not having a full squad we earned a credible draw. This was good preparation for our County Semi final against Kilruane on Tuesday the 11th of May.
 
Well done to Alanna Morris, Rachel Maher and Zoe Gratton for their performances for Tipperary u 14s in the Clare inter county tournament in Ennis last Monday. The best of luck to Ciara Mc Grath and her u 16 team mates in the All Ireland u 16 final next Saturday in Tullamore, please make the effort to be there to support them.
