Weekly Notes

November 8, 2018

* A reminder that tickets are available from Kevin Sweeney in the Club from 9.30pm each Sunday Night upto before the awards night which will take place on Saturday 22 February 2014. The guest of honour at our Annul Awards Night will be Ross Carr. This column is too small to list all Ross’s achievements in the game, but, it is suffice to say he carries a wealth of knowledge and experience of Gaelic Football.  I would advise anyone who wishes to attend the dinner dance to contact Kevin Sweeney and get your tickets at the earliest opportunity. tickets fir the dinner dance must be collected and paid for by next Sunday Night 16 February 2014.

* Last year our Activ8 programme of events was very popular which brought in more members and resulted in a huge amount of activity in the weeks leading up to Easter. This popular event will be run again this year in the run up to Easter. Given Easter is later this year we hope the weather will not be as inclement as it was last year. Please watch this column and our website for further updates.

* Anyone interested in juvenile coaching in football, hurling or camogie please contact John O’Neill on 07711737610

There will be a child protection course in the social club on Friday 21 February 2014 from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Everyone working with children needs to complete this course so we would ask everyone to please avail of this opportunity and contact John O’Neill, Aidan Rodgers, Noreen Keown or Terry Connolly to register.
