U16: We defeated Ballina in our 3rd game of the championship last week, we will have played Newport/Ballinahinch on Monday April 4th.
Easter camp: We will run a hurling Easter camp over 3 days April 26th to 28th from 2 to 5pm each day, age group will be from
U 10s Training Tuesday and Friday evenings from 5.30 to 6.30
Nenagh hosted the first u 12 Go Games Blitz in the county on Saturday in McDonagh Park with Burgess Kilruane Toomevara and the home team providing a great occasion where there was plenty of skill and determination on show. It was officially opened by County Chairman Joe Cahill who thanked the clubs for their commitment in adapting to the new format. The teams played six games each and all the girls participated fully which is in the spirit of the new format. The club would like to thank the teams coaches referees and all the parents who provided refreshments.
Congratulations to the Tipperary u 16 team who qualified for the All Ireland semi final which will be against Cork in three weeks time. Aileen Duggan and Alanna Morris were the clubs representatives on the squad. Tipperary had a hard fought win against Galway with a 3-06 to 1-09 victory. Congratulations to Tim Maher and his team for coming out of a tough group which also had Kilkenny and Derry in it.
Congratulations to Gerry Dullea and his St Marys Convent senior team on winning the Munster Senior A league against Kinsale in Charleville . Nenagh Eire Og were well represented on the team with Ciara Mc Grath Alanna Morris Aileen Duggan Catriona O Conner Sarah Maher Niamh Costello Gemma Morris and Mary Dillon on the panel.
Cíara McGrath was an unused sub for the Tipperary Senior team in their defeat to Wexford in the league semi final on Sunday.
Club gear is available from the Sportsmans Dream and the club still have a limited number of helmets at reduced rates.
