Once again Kilmaine is put on the map by Gerard Sheridan, Tullyduff, Kilmaine, who came second in the All Ireland Junior Class, National Ploughing Championship held in Athy recently. Three generations of the Sheridan family have competed in the National Ploughing Championship with victorious results on all occasions, so this year was no exception with Ger winning second place at this level.
