Senior players are still doing pre-season training, with challenge matches next weekend against Loreto H.C. Dublin.
In the meantime, all eyes are on Greenfields’ Dora Gorman, who lines out next week as Captain of the Irish U17 Womens soccer team. Having qualified in July, for the U17 World Cup, the squad are now based in Trinidad & Tobago, where the event is taking place.
Getting out of Group D will be a tough challenge – the best of luck to Dora & the team.
