Meanwhile on Monday evening, our Seconds took on Shannon in Coonagh in the Transfield Cup. The final score was Shannon 10 – 23 Young Munster however Shannon had conceded this game before kick-off due to lack of substitutions. Our squad had a great run-out nonetheless and scorers for Young Munster were Declan Bannon, Colin Liston and Tommy Lee with Bannon adding two penalties and one conversion.
