Clubforce Customer Marketing Executive, Nicole Fowley has been announced in the starting XV for the Ireland rugby team as they begin their campaign this weekend in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations. Ireland will face a tough away fixture against, last year’s runners-up, France at the Marie-Marvingt Stadium in Le Mans.
Fowley is excited to get the campaign underway, “I’m delighted to be back in the green jersey. My last Six Nations campaign was in 2019, it’s a new team and a new environment which I’m excited to be a part of.
“Special thanks to all the team at Clubforce, who have been very accommodating with my hectic schedule. Balancing training and work has been tricky at times but the support has been great and we’ve found a way to make it work which I’m very thankful for.
“I’m looking forward to getting our campaign started this Saturday in France, it’s going to be a tough battle but we’re excited to get going!”
Clubforce CEO, Noel Murray shared the organisation’s delight in Fowley’s call-up: “We’re incredibly proud of Nicole’s selection for Ireland, which is a testament to her achievements at both Galwegians and Connacht Rugby.
“Sport is the beating heart of Clubforce with many of our team involved in sports clubs as participants and volunteers. Having people in our team who live and breathe sports day to day is vital to ensuring the Clubforce platform remains the best tool available for today’s sports clubs.
“We’re delighted that Nicole has been able to combine her important role in our team alongside training and selection for the Irish rugby team. I know all the team will be wishing her and her team-mates the best of luck for the game on Saturday.”
