Sports Scientist at STATSports

Connor Clancy

Connor Clancy is a Sports Scientist at STATSports in Newry. He has spent over 4 years assisting some of the top professional teams in the world including 2 years as the lead GPS analyst with the German Men’s National Team. More recently, the Clare native and University of Limerick graduate has turned his attention to the GAA world, introducing grassroots clubs across the country to the latest in STATSports GPS technology.

David Nolan

David Nolan is a sports scientist and strength & conditioning coach with experience working with elite athletes in multiple sports including GAA, rugby, ice hockey, powerlifting and combat sports. David is currently completing a PhD at Dublin City University in Applied Strength and Conditioning investigating sex-related differences in adaptation to resistance training. David currently leads on, and lectures on the MSc. in Sports Performance Analysis at the Portobello Institute. In addition, David is co-director of the Irish Strength and Conditioning Network and the former head of performance at Rugby Academy Ireland, where he is currently director of education and research. David also runs his own consultancy practice, Synapse Performance.

Training Manager at Clubforce

Francis Creaven

Francis is the Training Manager at Clubforce. He previously worked in administrative roles with the Connacht GAA and Galway FA. Sports Student of the Year for 2010/11 in Letterkenny I.T, Francis has always strived to learn more about the games and teams he supports and what makes them operate.
He has travelled all over Ireland watching his native Galway in GAA and all over Europe following the exploits of the Irish National football team. He has also travelled to America watch his beloved Raiders in the NFL.
If there’s anything worth knowing about Clubforce and Sport in general, Francis will have the answer!

Nicole Fowley

Nicole Fowley is a Digital Marketer at Clubforce, she formally worked as Club Community Rugby Officer at Connacht Rugby. She has been capped 8 times for Irish Women’s Rugby team, winning her first cap in the November series in 2016. Sligo born and now living in Galway, she started her rugby career with Sligo RFC and now plays with Galwegians RFC. Nicole also played soccer for Castlebar Celtic in the Women’s National League and Gaelic football for Sligo LGFA. Having played rugby for Ireland gives Nicole a voice with huge sporting wisdom and reach which she uses fearlessly to champion female visibility and equality in Sport.

Business Development Executive at Clubforce

Tomas Jakeman

Tomas Jakeman is a Business Development Executive and worked at Paddy Power before joining the Clubforce Commercial Team. He has always had a big interest in a wide range of sports including GAA, horse-racing, golf and boxing, both as a participant and as a spectator. Tomas believes strongly in the positive impact of Sport on the wider community and is keen to promote health and well-being through Sport. Tomas has a degree in Business and Marketing from GMIT and is a member of Clarinbridge GAA Club.

Rachel Kavanagh

Rachel is the Chief Marketing Officer at Clubforce. She is passionate about marketing, technology and building brands. Rachel has driven digital transformation initiatives in large multinationals across Europe as well as being a key contributor in high growth start-ups. She has consulted some of the world’s largest brands on marketing strategy and automation. Rachel has a Computer Science degree from the University of Limerick and an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona.

Niamh Loughnane

Niamh Loughnane is a Marketer at Clubforce focusing on boosting our employer brand and social media marketing. Niamh has a BSc in Product Design from Maynooth University and is currently studying Digital Media at GMIT. Niamh is a successful make-up artist in her spare time and has a passion and flare for creative and design. She is also passionate about GAA team sports, in particular camogie, and loves to travel around the world.

Director of Global Operations at Clubforce

Paul Madden

Paul Madden is the Director of Global Operations at Clubforce. Paul has over 15 years’ experience in marketing with an emphasis on digital for over 10 years. He has worked in agencies in Spain and Australia as well as multinational companies and SMEs in Ireland. Paul has led large software projects including a the launch of a number of CRM systems. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, a Masters in Journalism and a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics.

Oliver McCamley

Oliver McCamley is a Bachelor of Commerce student at NUI Galway, currently gaining valuable work experience on the marketing team at Clubforce. Despite his career being in its infancy, Oliver has found a passion for marketing operations and analytics through his time at college and at Clubforce. Oliver is a fanatic of all kinds of sports and has played soccer in his youth for Maree Oranmore FC.

Timmy McSweeney

Timmy McSweeney is a student at NUI Galway, currently studying Business Information Systems. Timmy has been learning valuable skills in digital marketing for Clubforce and has developed a strong interest in marketing during his time at Clubforce. Timmy has a passion for sport and has played sport all his life. He currently plays junior Gaelic Football for his home club, Bearna GAA.

Business Development at Clubforce

Ian Morris

Ian Morris was appointed as Head Coach of Shelbourne FC in 2018. Ian has had a distinguished football playing career in both England and Ireland, recruited to Leeds United in 2003, at the young age of 15, before playing spells at Scunthorpe United, Carlisle United, Chesterfield, Torquay United and Northampton Town.
In 2015, Ian returned to Ireland and joined St Patrick’s Athletic. After a brief time at Glenavon FC, he joined Bohemian FC where he had played since 2016.
Whilst at Bohemians, Ian was Head of Youth Development and has had a central role in the success of the Youth Academy and League of Ireland underage teams.
Ian now also works in Business Development for Clubforce. He is a football industry expert, a thought leader and he acts as a company ambassador.

James Ó Flatharta

James Ó Flatharta is a Marketing Assistant with Clubforce and is focused on promoting social media and the employer brand. James is a native Irish speaker and spent a year working with TG4 on an internship before joining the Clubforce family.  James has a BA in Irish and Maths from NUI Galway, an MA in Media Studies from Mary Immaculate college and has recently completed a Postgraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Maynooth. James is sport mad and plays a wide range from GAA with his local club CLG An Cheathrú Rua, Rugby with Corinthians RFC, AFL with the Galway Magpies and in his spare time dabbles in tag rugby and soccer socially.

IT Support Administrator at Clubforce

Arran Tyson

Arran is an IT Support Administrator at Clubforce. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technology and Economics as well as a Masters in Information Systems Management, both from NUIG. Arran is passionate about cyber-security and is undertaking several courses to improve his knowledge in this area. Before joining Clubforce, Arran spent five years working in hospitality where he realised the importance of knowing and understanding his customers and he takes advantage of this experience in his current role.

Rich is the Commercial Manager in the marketing team at Clubforce. With over 14 year’s experience at one of the UK’s leading sports federations and senior roles across the spectrum of participation, marketing, commercial and sponsorship, Rich is passionate about supporting grassroots sports clubs and the volunteers involved.

Anna Dimitrova

Anna is a Marketing Executive at Clubforce. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing/Management and Technology from NUIM. Anna is passionate about digital marketing and is undertaking several courses to improve her knowledge in this area. Before joining Clubforce, Anna spent six years working in various industries ranging from music, translating, hospitality and technology.
