Clubforce Announced As Principal Sponsor for Salthill Knocknacarra GAA

Clubforce is delighted to announce a new partnership with Salthill/Knocknacarra GAA (SKGAA), as principal sponsor in the adult sections of the “four codes” in 2022. SKGAA is the largest GAA Club in Connacht and is proud to promote Hurling, Camogie, Gaelic Football and Ladies Football with all teams having exceptional seasons this year.

The biggest and latest club news is that the Salthill/Knocknacarra Intermediate Camogie team qualified for the AIB All Ireland Club Final which will take place on the 6th March 2022 in Croke Park, an incredible achievement by the young team led by Siobhain Divilly.

Other recent highlights include the junior hurlers making the All-Ireland Semi-Final for the first time in almost sixty years, the junior ladies footballers topping the league and championship table, Donal O’Shea taking the position of Galway’s top scorer in the Walsh’s Cup, the Under-15 ladies footballers winning the County Feile, Junior B winning back-to-back County Championships, the Under-19 footballers winning the County Championship and the Camogie Team not only making it to Croke Park final but also winning the Intermediate League campaign and reaching the County Final for the first time in the history of the club.

It was announced in December that John O’Mahony (68), the double All-Ireland winning manager, who guided Galway to the 1998 and 2001 All-Ireland titles, is back in leadership to take charge of the Men’s Senior Football team in 2022 with the hope of leading the Galway side to their first title in a decade.

Club Chairperson Alan Mulholland said about the partnership “We look forward to a longstanding relationship with Clubforce who share many of our Club values. We’re grateful to Warren for the work he does for us at SKGAA and to the team at Clubforce for their continued interest in our club and community. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together in the coming year.”

Warren Healy, founder of Clubforce and Registrar at SKGAA, added  “We are delighted to sponsor Salthill Knocknacarra GAA at such an exciting time in the club’s development. There are real parallels in the values of both organisations; inclusivity, respect, ambition and of course, joy and wellbeing through sport. As a club the Salthill Knocknacarra GAA purpose is to nurture and inspire our community and establish lifelong connections, built around our love of Gaelic Games. At Clubforce it’s about building connections through technology and bringing people together through their love of sport. It’s a meeting of mindsets.”
